At Thai Zaap, we bring the bold, vibrant flavors of Thailand to the New Orleans area through food inspired by Thai street cooking and the dishes we grew up sharing with family.
“Zaap” means tasty and full of flavor — a simple idea that is at the heart of everything we serve. From Pad Thai and fragrant curries to spicy basil stir-fries and refreshing Thai salads, our dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients, aromatic herbs, bold spices, and the distinctive balance of flavors that makes Thai food so special.
Today, you can experience Thai Zaap at our two locations: Thai Zaap Express – West End in New Orleans and Thai Zaap Cafe – Veterans in Metairie. Each has its own atmosphere, but both share the same goal: authentic Thai flavors, warm hospitality, and food made to be enjoyed together.
